Common Questions

Do I need prior experience?

Not at all. Our guides tailor each session to your comfort and skill level, explaining everything from baiting the line to reading the ice. Many of our guests are trying this for the very first time.

Is the equipment included in the stay?

Yes, all technical equipment including rods, tackle, seating, and safety gear is provided during your guided session. We ask only that you bring your own warm, waterproof clothing and insulated boots.

How do you ensure the ice is safe?

Guest safety is our absolute priority. Our estate team rigorously measures the ice thickness daily in multiple locations before any guest is permitted onto the lake. Activities only run when conditions are entirely optimal.

What else is there to do?

Our retreat is designed for a slower pace. Alongside fishing, guests enjoy nature photography, long walks on our private grounds, reading by the lodge hearth, and evening gatherings around the fire pits.

Have a specific request?

If you would like to discuss a private session or have further questions about the activities during your stay, we are happy to assist.
